Bamboo Toothbrush - Adult 2 Pack
Bamboo Toothbrush - Adult 2 Pack
You will receive two individually packaged adult bamboo toothbrushes.
Standard soft bristles made from 100% Castor Bean Oil. This means that the bristles contain 0% fossil fuel and 0% petroleum. The bristles are made in the European Union and are “biobased”, but do not qualify as “biodegradable”. Per US Law, “biodegradable” products need to break down within 1 year. These biobased bristles will eventually return to the soil, but the timeline for break down would depend on soil activity/ocean activity.

Care: Store in a well-ventilated, dry area. Bamboo is a natural material that keeps best when kept in a dry area. Enclosed toothbrush cups that collect water are not ideal. It’s best to keep your toothbrush in an open-air toothbrush holder or any other dry area.
As with any toothbrush, please thoroughly rinse the bamboo toothbrush handle and bristles with water before first use. This especially important with bamboo toothbrushes as compared to plastic toothbrushes. There may be some bamboo dust that remains on the toothbrush head and handle after manufacturing. This is harmless but needs to be washed off. You can wash and care for our soft plant-based bristles just like a conventional toothbrush.
Your bamboo toothbrushes will last 3 to 4 months. With proper care, our ecological bamboo toothbrush will last just as long as a conventional plastic toothbrush. The American Dental Association recommends replacing your toothbrush every 3 months to prevent bacteria build up, or when the bristles have frayed.
End of use: The box encasing the toothbrush is made from paper, can be recycled or composted. Bamboo handle is compostable. Remove bristles with pliers and either recycle through TerraCycle or throw away.
Other: USDA Certified 100% Biobased. Green American Certified. Vegan. BPA-Free. Natural and Non-toxic.

Fun Fact: The type of bamboo used for these toothbrushes is wild-harvested Giant Moso Bamboo. The bamboo comes from a mountain range in South China where it grows wild. When a stalk of bamboo is cut to make toothbrushes, another bamboo stalk takes its place and grows to full length (50-75ft) in only 2 years (bamboo is a grass, not a tree!)
